The biggest US hotel chain plans to use a predicted jump in domestic tourism as the planet’s 3rd biggest economy expands. China will be the planet’s single biggest source of global tourism and will most likely become the most important travel destination over the next ten years, J.W. Marriott Jr, manager and CEO of Marriott, related in an announcement released at a media lecture in Shanghai. Marriott wants to have up to ninety hostels in China by 2015, up from 46, the company said.

China’s economy grew 11.9 p.c in quarter one from a year ago, the quickest pace in nearly 3 years.
